While I've got the rear wheel off, I figure I ought to grease the splines.
I can't remember...plain ol' grease or moly grease?
Also, on the inside of the brake drum side of the wheel, I can see streaks
where oil or grease has been slung around and out...cleaned this stuff off
my wheels last week too. I'm gonna clean everything real good and re-grease
it (lightly) saturday and watch. Does over greasing the splines work its
way into the other side or does it sound like my bearing seal is gone or
something else entirely? Help!
