Ed in Iowa:
The seat I used for my Ambo came off a chopped Harley I restored 20
years ago. It went in the spare parts pile and resurfaced when I did the
Ambo restoration. It's a Bates seat, I think, and it says 'made in
Italy' on it so it was appropriate. You can see a photo of it at

I had to fab a couple of brackets, but didn't have to drill any
holes or alter the frame to mount it. I have no idea where you'd find
one these days though.
