Some paraquoting from a ural riding dude I know...
The stock URAL tractor seat is a POS. The metal bracket fatigues and fails
after 5000 miles of riding; trust me...I went thru two of 'em. The seat
uses an elastomeric bushing for suspension - the rubber gets squishy and
soft after a while, and you have to double them up.
To rectify this, URAL America went to a Corbin solo seat in 1999
The better saddle is the Chinese CJ saddle - the metal is better, and it
uses a REAL spring instead of rubber baby buggy bumpers.
