Hi Barry
just a tip, during assembly, throw some grease on the supported areas,
like the end opposite spline and the area supported by the foot peg bushing.

I have to say... you people are some of the best around! Thanks for all
of the offers to help me out! I made a few calls this morning (Monday)
and ended up finding a NOS replacement sitting covered in dust on the
shelves at Harpers for $40 no less. It is on its way as I type this so
will be spending Thursday evening performing the transplant.
Again... I am amazed at the all the great offers of help I received on
this one!

Hi barry. I live about 25 miles from you in White Rock and I have a
shifter
shaft you can use for the summer . But I would like it back as it is
part of
a basket case I hope to have together some day.
