You get what you pay for. They will suffice. But I would not want them
on
the bike if I had to do any emergency maneuvers or stopping. Especially
if
they were high mileage tires (i.e. been on the bike for >8-10k) From
what I
have seen, they tend to harden into stone pretty quickly and therefore
require frequent replacement.

I am however, trying out a set of Maxxis white walls. Maxxis is a
division
of CS. SO far I have no complaints and I am watching them carefully for
hardening, cupping, etc.

I am curious to hear how some of the other inexpensve brands hold up.

Kenda, etc. After all this is just my experience and my comfort level
with
CS tires. Bridgestone at one time had a very bad MC tire rep as well and

they now make some really good sport tires.

Are Chen shin's really good tires? I bought one for a yamaha years ago'
I wasn't too happy with it if I remember.
Although, I remember the price was right.

That's what I thought. I've been looking for whitewalls for a while now.
Let me know how you like them. They would have to something special for
me to give up my Avon 120's.Which I didn't think I'd like but it turned
out just the opposite.
