North hollywood repaired mine last year. They also had some nos tachs in
stock. The cost was less than $100 to repair mine.

The called me and said that they no longer had the parts to fix it and sent it back. The strange part was that the repairman said that their shop had fixed the tach back in '74 due to some notes inside the tach. Turns out that Harpers sells refurbished tachs for $150 with exchange of your old one...which means the repair parts are out there somewhere. I purchased one from Harpers since I was going a long trip in a short time. I'd try North Hollywood before talking to Harpers. Bruce '72 Eldo
