Keith,
The removal of the cover plate will allow the lock to come out but you still
need a key in there to release the pin.
I was told the same thing too.

FYI, the Guzzi NA parts guy told me that the lock can be removed by pulling out the rivet that holds the cover onto the lock. Said the assembly should pull out after this rivet is removed. TBD. Will ask my locksmith. Keith Ruff 71 Police Amabassador - NJ |
