I'm not exactly sure which battery I'm using (I'll get a number off of it next time I take a cover off) It was in there when I bought it... it does fit properly on the battery base. On my Eldo, I've got the old square side covers which may make things easier for me, but I've got quite a bit of room between the filters and battery. Also, I know it's been suggested many times that the K&N's be mounted turned inward so that the flat part of the filters touch each other, but I found that this interfered with my fuel line arrangements (I'm running inline filters.. so my fuel line bundle is a little bulkier that normal)... I've got mine pointed outward... the edge of one filter slightly overlaps the other... but it's not at all objectionable... So, to make a long story short... plenty of room between battery and filters... not quite as sure about clearance related to the longer side covers... I can take a picture if you like...Bill rick woods wrote:
