Duhhhh...also I found out from Mark (MG Classics) today that I have the
longer 850-T type venturis. Can't believe he came all the way out here and
didn't ride at least part of the way. ;)

Yes they are tight but no problems with getting them to fit. If neccessary you can shave off a bit of the rubber to allow them to slide towards the carb a little more. For what it is worth....I have Uni's on the 70 Ambo and K&N's on the 69 Ambo. Both seem to work well although if I needed to buy another set I would go with the uni's for the price.
