I believe the left (sinestro) manifold has a tighter radius than the right.

Regards....Ian

I hate it when I do this.

I went to moto int'l for my weekend parts run. They had an open house going
on. food and sodas....yeehaw.

I ordered the stuff they didn't have and took away what they did have.

Once home I cleaned and rebuilt the sinestro carb and wrassled it on to the
intake.

WTF??? The rubber airbox boot wont fit no more. And the venturi sits so far
back the airbox won't make it to the lower mount holes.

Let me guess. The intakes are different. There is a different intake for
the
right side head and for the left side head (which sits back about an inch)

Yes?

I found another intake that appears to have a more radical bend. I suspec
this is the left side intake.

feh. After all the polishing I did on the one I used.

the other thang: I went to wal mart to find a battery. I figured what the
hell, I'm not looking for high tech, or original resto hell I'm making my
own battery frame. If I can find a batt with the right specs, why not? SO I
go looking through the pile, as their help staff is not helpful at all. Odd
thing, I could fiond batteries with listings for Munch Mammoth and Guzzi
250
singles but not for a big twin.

Any recommendations that have worked well? I'm not adverse to replacing it
next year with a super duper one. Just looking for a decent inexpensive
batt
for right now. But it's gotta have the right specs.
