Hi Ken and all,
My Blitz rear lasted 8,000 miles and the front has 10,000 with usable tread left.
I now have a TK17 on the rear and expect even better longevity. Mark @ Moto Guzzi
Classics noted last time this thread came up, that 10,000 miles on a Blitz rear
was normal. Differences in riding style, pressures, and load carried may factor
in.
For pressures I use 30 front and 34 rear. Used the previously described method to
arrive at these figures.
Whenever I've bought tires via mailorder, they have always been within one year of
the date of manufacture. Cheers,
Charlie
