Answering my own question here for y'all but still open to comments.

I spoke with a tech rep from Denso. I ordered up 2 each Denso Iridium
IW20's, stock #5305 from Monarch Performance (I think that was their
name, I wrote down the phone # and called them, forgot to right their
name down), phone # 888-800-9629. Plugs are $11.99 each plus shipping,
no tax if outside CA, otherwise I think it was 8% tax. Monarch was by
far the cheapest I found. The plug comes pre-gapped at .044, whereas,
the NGK BP6ES (found that # from an old message from Ian) is supposed to
be gapped at .023. Denso tech rep (800-222-6352) said the .044 gap
should be fine because these plugs require lower voltage to spark and
have a stronger spark than the std plug, i.e., NGK, so no re-gap is
required. He also mentioned that I should feel a pretty significant
improvement in power and economy - the older the machine, the better
these work since the technology wasn't available back then. He gave an
example of this by comparing a 71 Ambo to a new Ducati. The Ambo has
old tech (points/carb/etc..) whereas a new Ducati is all tuned to be
near peak output off the showroom floor, therefore the plug will improve
performance but not as significantly/noticeable as on the Ambo.

Just thought I'd share this info. I'm real curious how these plugs will
make the Ambo run. Will let y'all know. Again, I'm interested in any
feedback. The website with lots of info on these Denso Iridiums is:

 Greetings Fellow Loopers,

Just heard of these spark plugs and am going to give them a try in my
car. They also make them for m/c's, but I need to know the spark plug
type and # so they can cross reference it to the Denso Iridium. They
are supposed to be the best plugs on the market, better than platinum,
and have proof on a dyno that they increase HP and fuel economy. NGK
makes an Iridium plug also, but I hear the Denso is better. Have any of

you heard about these plugs? Any feedback? Should I try these out on
my 71 Ambo?

Oh BTW, what is the best brand/plug # for an Ambo? Bike is in the shop
so I can't check what's currently in it.
