Those are the stock mufflers off my 74 Eldo LAPD. I found a set of
original Dunstall Megaphones and put on the eldo. I swapped eldo mufflers
onto my wife's Ambo. I don't think they produce them anymore, but I have
seen some reproductions that are close.

Karl,
I had a look at the pictures of your Ambassador, and noticed the 'slash
cut' mufflers. Can you tell me the manufacturer and where you got these
(and how much)?
Thanks,
Brian Murphy

Hi, everyone. I got a great tip that can save you a few bucks. For those of you whose headlight rims has seen better days, I have found a cheep alternative to paying 60 - 75 bucks for a replacement. Go down to your local URAL dealer and order a headlight rim from one of their side car machines. They cost 25 bucks and will fit right on the stock Guzzi head light bucket. I put one on my wife's Ambassador and it looks great. You can take a look at it on the link below. http://home1.gte.net/janemac/ambassador.html Jane & Karl Kologiski Bird at the Wheel - Motorcycle Arts- St. Petersburg, Florida Visit our web site at http://home1.gte.net/janemac/bird.html -----Original Message----- From: brad kopp [SMTP:fotog-@yahoo.com] Sent: Sunday, February 18, 2001 5:25 PM To: Loopfram-@topica.com Subject: Re: Eldo front forks << File: ATT00002.html >> ============================================================ BOOST YOUR BUSINESS WITH NEW TECHNOLOGY -- DIRECT FROM HP Buy direct from the hp business store, and get the latest computing/networking/printing products, all at great prices: http://click.topica.com/aaabrIb1dfltb1BgZXa/HP ============================================================ I did not find it hard to dismantle my V7 forks. as for the special tool, I made one from the correct size pipe and a grinding wheel. the trick was to pry open the lower triple clamp so the fork tube could slide through easily. --------------------------------- Do You Yahoo!? - Get personalized email addresses from Yahoo!
