Hi Ian,
I think it's a Loopframe (or maybe I just want it to be). I was thinking of
doing a replica of Guzzi's "world record" bike of '69/'70, but that idea would
involve lots of cash. Instead I'll probably use more stock bodywork, some sort
of "bumstop" seat and lighten the rest by leaving parts off without losing the
character of an Ambo. Love my old '69 Ambo but want something a bit more
sporting until I can afford the Laverda of my dreams.
Here's a question for my fellow Loopframers: why not a Loopframe Land Speed
Record bike? We could do some damage in the 750cc class! Handling or brakes
don't matter as much in this venue, an Ambo engine with the right work could
produce as much power as a V7 Sport engine. Whatcha' think?
Probably almost as crazy as my diesel Ambo idea! :)
Night y'all,
Charlie

That's a Tonti frame right? :-) What are your plans for the LoopSport? Sounds like an interesting project. What is your plan? Did you see the Convert Sport a guy did in one of the back issues of the newsletter? If you can make a Convert look good you sure can make a Loop look good :-) Ian -----Original Message----- From: Charles Mullendore <C.D.Mul-@worldnet.att.net> To: Loopfram-@topica.com <Loopfram-@topica.com>; Mike Skaggs <msse-@classicguzzi.com> Date: February 20, 2001 7:53 PM Subject: Re: T shirt finals
