I swapped main jets which had no effect. I started playing around with the timing, and let the bike get really hot, I noticed that advancing and retarding was causing the poping to swap from one carb to the other, I finally found a happy medium and then adjusted the carbs a little bit, in the end I got a good idle no poping, and it revs well, I didn't road check it yet. Now I have another problem, I am getting a lot of oil coming from the crank case pressure contraption at the top, I am not sure that is coming through as much as seeping around the rubber connection tubes. Other than attempting to stop the leak by replacing the tubes what can I do, is it possable the presure reliefe valve is clogged and need replacing? Ian reminded me the beer is on me when we meet :-) thanks for the help. Thanks, Rick 67 V700 soon to be in MS ============================================================ GET A NEXTCARD VISA, in 30 seconds! removed the old sticking relief valves, and then resealed them. This
relieves the pressure and eliminates the relief valve.Make sure the
connections of the various lines are tight and point the long hose thru
the stay under the muffler and away from the rear tire..........KO
