What a difference a year makes, last year it was 75 degrees!! This year 18
degrees and light snow(though this would seem like childs play to JB). This
was the 8th annual first day of the year run put on by Mid South
Riders(based in Northwest Tennessee). This run was started based on the old
saying that you should do on the first day of the year what you want to do
the rest of it....26 bikes braved the cold, including two that came from
Arkansas...they were about froze!! After getting to the starting point, we
took a short ride to make it official then proceeded to scarf down all the
traditional New Years Day foods (black eyed peas, cabbage, pork and of
course corn bread). Sure hope it warms up here soon, the Scuzzi Guzzi does
NOT like these temperatures......hope everybody had a great holiday
themselves.
