I'm going to the National! I am working out a route, and hopeully Bill
Arbour will convince Tim Crump to come along with us. We will have to do
some riding at night, as the Desert in July is no place to be. Rough
plans include meeting at my uncle's in Lake Havasue City, resting,
crossing the desert at night(Needles, Barstow) and then heading north up
thru the middle of CA.
Carl Allison of Madesto, CA., said that he will let riders (who make
reservations) camp in his back yard, then go the next 60 or so miles to
the rally the next day. This will be part of my plan.
Seeing hows I got my G-5 'legal', I'll be riding that.
