Well, I was driving to my sisters on Sat., and I took a coupla wrong
turns. As I was driving down the street, I saw a motorcycle parked
infront of an old chevy truck. I stopped and backed up to get a better
look. Purely a natural reaction!
Aha! I can see the front fender... Definately a Guzzi. I park and walk
up the drive to have a good close look. It is a Police model Eldo!!
WooHoo!
The gas tank is off, but setting right there. Police kickstand, dash,
floorboards,chrome fender, expired tags....... alright! I knock, but no
one is home. I leave a note asking if he wants to sell his 'moto guzi'..
That afternoon, I get a call. "Yes", he wants to sell it. I have company
coming over, Bill Arbour from Vegas, so I arrainge to come see it on
tues, seeing how I'm busy until then.
I'll either have another Goose come wendsday, or I'll be posting one for
sale for the man......
