Hey Tom,
Did my Eldo twice........just stand the tranny on it's nose, carefully
unbolt the rear cover, and if you pull it off carefully, making sure the
shafts all stay in there, you just swap the spring for the broken one, and
put the cover back on.....I found it to be very easy.
