Hi All,
Hearing the comments about Guzzi's is interesting. I too have wondered =
what the attraction is. I (like Chris Dahl) have owned other bikes but =
none have stirred my emotions like the Ambo. Is it the looks, the age, =
the connection I feel with my fellow Loopframe Guzzisti when I look at =
her? Who knows....All I know is she is part of my family.=20
Here is one example of what the bike does to a person. I recently spoke =
with a gentleman who recently purchased an Eldo. He told me that he had =
never seen an Eldo in real life (only in pictures)but ever since his =
first glance (25 years ago) he has wanted one. Dreams do come true to =
some eh? :-)

Hi Chris,
I"ve been riding since I was 8. I'm now 47, and just bought a =
1970 Guzzi Ambassador. It hasn't run in 20 years, I think someone =
dropped it and walked away. The speedo reads 7,000. I got it to fire, =
but the seals in the carbs are gone. I love that damn motorcycle, even =
though it is taking up space in my barn as I am restoring it. What in =
the hell is it with the Guzzi. Some type of attraction. Some nights, I =
just sit, have a beer and stare at it. Ok, and you?
