Well, buddy, without seeing them I'd say they would be fine, if they =
were properly stored. If they were kept clean and dry, I doubt any =
change would have been made in their condition. If they are visually =
good, then you should be OK.

If I decide to put new Nikasil cylinders on my Eldo, the gentleman who =
is helping said I could have his to put on now, if I would replace them =
later. This would enable me to get up and going for some upcoming =
rallys, but would there be any reason not to use cylinders that are new, =
but have been on a shelf for some time? He originally got them for his =
own Eldo just in case, so I would essentially be swapping them out when =
mine came in. Just wondered if sitting on a shelf for a few years would =
have any consequences on durability. They have been in a workshop out =
of the weather, but still in temp changes.
