Tim,
You can buy a nut breaker at a good tool store. It will crack the nut =
and it will fall off. Probably do the least amount of damage.

Fellow listers....here my cry!
Yesterday, I was going to do a routine gasket replacement on my top =
end. The only thing so far that has been smooth is that the mail =
delivered my gaskets!
Exhaust nuts would not come off. NOTHING would work. Not the spanner =
tool, not an improved spanner tool, not a pipe wrench, not a hammer and =
a drift, not heat, NOTHING! After the very competent gentleman who was =
helping me made several calls to some of the Guzzi powers that be, we =
decided that I was going to have to cut off my header pipes, have the =
exhaust nuts turned out by a machinist, buy new exhaust nuts, buy new =
header pipes, etc. As I have recently put money in my bike, this is an =
unexpected dilemma to say the least. I am going to get it done right, =
so do you have any opinions as to what my best source for the needed =
parts are going to be? =20
Getting out my check book,
Tim
