Can't be more oil than you put in there. But, it can be a mixture of oil and
gas. If your petcocks or carbs leak, you can drain gas into the oil and
dilute it and add considerable volume. Better smell it. Drain and refill
with ONLY 3 quarts and see what happens over the next few days. Don't ride
it much in this condition as the dilution could seriously impair lubrication
quality. Also, if the cylinder fills with gas, when you go to start you will
be trying to compress a chamber of liquid and something might break.
