Hi Rich,
Those numbers sound good. They should also be about the same in each
cylinder within a certain percentage of each other and take the same number
of revolutions to get to the max. There are some numbers in a book
somewhere.....
When I tested the compression on my Ambo after installing new cylinders,
pistons and rings the numbers were 160 on both sides with approx 3-4
revolutions to achieve max compression.

------------------------------------------------------------ Anyone have an opinion on what is good compression for an Ambassador with 46K? My newly acquired '70 civilian is running around 170-175 lbs. per side. Thanks, Rich |
