Guzzi Initiate James has acquired an ambassador with a right hand shift.
The PO had the clutch cable routed in an imaginative fashion, doubling
back over the left cylinder. How is this supposed to go. Instinct says
to make a gentle loop on the right side before coming back to the left
under the left cylinder.
Another problem is the nonstock flat handlebar that would foul the tank
if the tank was bolted properly. It is now resting on the frame and
most of the wiring harness. Has anyone made a modification to the riser
to permit a flatter bar?
