Hello!
This is a picture of my "Rare bird" Ambassador, manuf Dec 68, the first day
when I brought it home from the salvage yard. The neighbors did not seem to
share my excitement for some silly reason. Maybe theyre still mad at me for
riding my CX100 up the street with only straight pipes :-D. I knew this was
an Ambassador, but did not realize the rarity of it until about a year later.
(there are only 5 known in the world.) The bike is 85% restored right now and
does not hardly resemble this picture anymore. I ride it to work almost every
day. I sent this picture to one person on the MGNOC mailing list and he
called it a boat anchor. Well, I guess its a gold plated one then. :-).
