I cracked the code! I am happy to share this info with you as it took quite a bit of research and development to find out. This applies to 1989-1990 California III, Mille GT, 1000 S, and likely a few other models that have the Saprisa only charging system. The bolt tool to remove the rotor is the same as the one for the earlier bosch system. Euro Moto Electrics makes a complete charging system which replaces everything with modern updated higher output robust components.
