Thanks to Peter Lauterslager for sending these to me via email. In Peter's own words:

I made these because I rebuild the transmission.

I cut up and welded a 27 mm socket tool to a metal bar. (Don't look at the dodgy weld. I forgot to op the shielding gas. :-\)

On the other end of this tool I attached the center hub of a worn clutch plate.

With this tool I can torque the lock nut on the engine side of the transmission.

And with the other I can torque the lock nut on the drive shaft side of the transmission.
