Towards the end of Ambassador 4 speed production, it seems Guzzi revised the case casting in order to use it for the first 5 speed in the Telaio Rosso.

I was comparing 4 and 5 speed cases today and it seems there would need to be even more substantial modifications made before you could have a Telaio Rosso replica 5 speed. Would be an interesting project if one had a need.
