Swing arm failure points

It is highly unlikedly to experience a swing arm failure. However, Gerhard Ziesemann experienced a failure and sent me a brief description and photos. In Gerhard's own words:

The pics attached show the broken rear swingarm of my own V7 700 at approx. 180000 km (nearly half of that with a sidecar attached). I put a lamp in to make the damage visible.
