Mufflers - How to fit Harley Davidson Tour Glide Mufflers to a Moto Guzzi Ambassador

Thanks to Don Warren for sharing his experience with me. The same steps are applicable to the Moto Guzzi V700, V7 Special, Ambassador, 850 GT, 850 GT California, Eldorado, and 850 California Police models.
I am sending a couple of pics of Harley Davidson Tour Glide Mufflers mounted on the Ambassador. I took the head pipe to the muffler shop and had them expand the end of the pipe to 1 3⁄4 inch which fits these mufflers. There are also two mounting brackets toward the end of these mufflers so I carefully cut one off and welded it on just below the passenger foot peg position. I actually think they look pretty good and I got these for USD $20.00 - the Harley guys always remove them and replace with after market so there are lots of then around cheap.
