Thanks to Charlie Mullendore of Antietam Classic Cycle for making me aware of this information. Thanks to Mike H, Brian UK, and el__burro for posting their information on the guzziriders.org forum.

Mike H recommends using a 220 nF (0.22 μF) 1000 volt DC capacitor and choosing one made from ceramic polyester or polypropylene (dielectric).

Brian UK recommends using a 0.2 μF (200 nF) at minimum 400 volts DC working.

Here are a couple of capacitors with the aforementioned characteristics:

Of course you will need to solder on short wire leads to both terminals. One lead will go to ground and the other lead will go to the post on the side of the distributor. It would be wise to secure the capacitor such that the entire weight does not hang loose and vibrate.
