My heart is filled with the fondest of memories and the deepest of sadness as I contemplate the impact of John's passing.

Set aside the immense knowledge and experience with Moto Guzzis that John possessed, and we are left with a truly happy man with a zest for life and a desire to infect others with the Joy that was inside him. Not a conversation ever went by when John didn't express to me how good his life had been. Sure, I will always remember the mechanical tips, tricks, and techniques John taught me. But the real gift he gave me was his infectious joy and happiness of a life well lived.

Rest in Peace, John. You spoke on more than a few occasions of your destiny after death, and I pray to meet you there when my time on earth is finished. God speed.
