Step 4: Install the sub-harness that connects the coil to the distributor

Applicable to these part numbers:

  1. Connect one end of the black wire to the negative terminal on the coil. If you have a Magneti Marelli coil, the black wire will have a 5 mm ring terminal at the coil end. If you have a Bosch coil, the black wire will have a female spade terminal at the coil end.

  2. Connect the other end of the black wire to the post on the side of the distributor. The post is shared with the wire from the condenser.
