Clutch push rod (Original)

There was also a very early clutch push rod that utilized a single ball as the bearing between the end of the clutch push rod and the inner body (MG# 12085700).

Thanks to Piotr Sawiak for providing the following information on this very early clutch push rod.

The length of this clutch push rod is 223 mm. The ball I had was 4.7 mm diameter, but it should be 5 mm I think.

Sidenote: While this variation of the clutch push rod assembly is shown in the very earliest spare parts catalog, Charlie Mullendore is doubtful that it ever saw production. Instead Charlie suspects that examples through the years may have been modified by previous owners.
