Earlier this year I installed a larger Clarke tank on my 1993 DR350. I love the larger capacity. But, I started to notice that the right side of the tank was rubbing on portions of the decompression lever assembly.

Clarke tank on my 1993 Suzuki DR350. I installed a 1⁄2 inch long spacer to move the rubber bumper out just enough to make contact with the tank at all times. This prevents the tank from moving sideways and keeps it from rubbing on the decompression lever assembly. Since I used a longer spacer, I used a longer pan head machine screw (6 mm × 1 mm × 30 mm) to secure the bumper in place.

This prevents the tank from moving sideways and keeps it from rubbing on the decompression lever assembly. Since I used a longer spacer, I used a longer pan head machine screw (6 mm × 1 mm × 30 mm) to secure the bumper in place.
